Nutritional IV Infusions

John Myers, MD, of Baltimore, pioneered the use of intravenous (IV) vitamins and minerals as part of the overall treatment of various medical problems.   After Dr. Myers died in 1984, Alan Gaby, MD updated this regimen.  The basic ingredients include Vitamin C, Magnesium, Calcium and B vitamins and is still commonly known as “Meyer’s cocktail”.  It was found to be a well tolerated and highly beneficial for a wide range of acute and chronic conditions.  Patients report improvement in pain, energy and immune function.

Intravenous administration of nutrients increases the concentration in the blood, providing an opportunity for cells to take up nutrients. If cells are repeatedly “flooded” with nutrients, the improvements are often cumulative and most patients become progressively healthier.  Generally, the interval between treatments can be gradually increased and the IV infusions become no longer necessary.

The Myers’ Cocktail has been found by hundreds of practitioners over many thousands of treatments to be a safe and helpful nutritional support for their patients.  It is well tolerated and complementary to other therapies.  Dr. Bonlie is delighted to make this treatment available to you.
